Traffic, Conversions and Economics

Marketing is just the mix of traffic, conversions and economics.
I say this because most marketing decisions are really based on emotions and we want to back our hunches with a little bit of data.
I'm not saying do not try and persuade with emotion, just in the backing with the arithmocracy (the finance department), they need this.
If you have some evidence this might just work, I'm sure they'd love to see that.
