What Type of Marketer Will You Need in 2024?

As a performance marketer I'm almost always asked about brand marketing. Oddly enough I don't know a lot about brand marketing. It's one of those things that has a not of muddy definitions and if I can't track it easily, it doesn't make sense.

So what type will you need more of this year?

My answer will sound biased but if you aren't hiring someone who can track ad spend right through to conversion then you aren't hiring the correct person.

If you hire a brand marketer as your CMO, I think it could be the worst marketing decision possible. This year is going to be a whole lot more volatile than the last.
