No Good Measures
If youβre working in Agile, youβre generally working on implementation. You go to stand ups and you end up working on inputs that make up the whole of another part within the over arching strategy.
Day by day you start discussing how you are tracking and the βburn down rateβ starts becoming more important than the outcome.
When a measure becomes a target, it ceases to be a good measure.
Keep the outcome top of mind when youβre working in Agile teams. Thereβs no business value correlation from βhow many tickets did you close off?β.
