SEO isn't dead

I had a reader reply and ask "you still use and advocate for SEO?" when they saw my warm audience flywheel diagram.

I'm a known hater on SEO because it's a big marketing vibe destroyer and I usually just steer clear personally, unless it works with my provocateur type content (like this).

And hey I saw it work well in the last org I was at.

Anyway my main point as it is not dead and it's probably not going away immediately like a lot of the doomers are saying.

Not many folks know that Google was originally just one big scraping machine, and now OpenAI and Claude are the same.

The Google search pages for a popular keyword are just going to keep being scraped, and that keeps search engines going.

Thus answer engines will keep search engines alive for the time being.
