When we are looking to get value from a high-ticket purchase we tend to see quality in the time something is in our lives.
When in fact not all things provide value in this way and we are left a bit underwhelmed with the experience.
Say you booking a flight, you jump on Flight Centre or Skyscanner bring up something like Brisbane to Tokyo, set some dates and mash the submit button, no you get back a loading screen of “Thinking about the best results” when in fact they are just hitting the Amadeus API (they all use the same data to do this trickery) and returning results to make it look like they are in fact more valuable.
So just realise you are being bullshitted too and perhaps call it out. You probably won’t because you’ve been provided sufficient value in your mind at that stage of the journey.
