Don't just think better. Think different.

Using the same thinking in your industry at your competitors will breed mediocrity.

I've seen the wall of ego come up on nearly every phone call when I recommend something out of industry norms.

How I'd combat that? Aiming to be different above all else.

I have a good friend say 'We don't price it like that in our industry'.

'Great, you sound like you hate higher profits, that sounds insane to me'.

His thinking is too caught up in his tasks and it continues to burn him to this day.
